Top Schaffer expert makes service call from Germany

Top Schaffer expert makes service call from GermanyTHE WORLD service manager of Schaffer Loaders, Hubertus Grasskemper, has come to visit Australia from Germany.

During his stay from 24 July 2009 to 7 August 2009, Grasskemper will hold a series of training workshops at Schaffer Loaders around Australia to teach mechanics the finer points of servicing Schaffer equipment.

Grasskemper will also meet key Schaffer clients, and acquaint himself with the diverse usage of Schaffer products in Australia – including mining and mineral processing.

Managing director of Schaffer Australia, Cameron Moir, says while all Schaffer equipment, from the mini loaders and mini diggers to the larger front end loaders, are made at Schaffer’s German factory, they are factory-customised for Australian operating conditions. That’s why it’s great that Grasskemper can visit us to keep up to speed with how the Schaffers are actually being used here.

The workshops reflect Schaffer’s philosophy of whole-of-life service excellence for their machinery, which is renowned for its German-engineered, industrial quality. The workshops will help mechanics acquire the skills to become true Schaffer “factory-trained” mechanics offering superior follow-up service.

However, with Schaffer’s reputation for trouble-free operation most of their work is bound to be routine preventative servicing.

Schaffer Loaders has been a leading manufacturer for over 50 years and is the number one brand in Europe for loaders up to 6.5 tonnes operating weight.

In Australia, the popularity of Schaffer Loaders has exploded since they entered the market five years ago due to their robust German-engineered quality, versatility, compact size and incredible agility in tight situations.
