Railway dumper moves in

SEMCO has released a railway dumper specifically designed to safely work across rail tracks and railway maintenance sites.

According to the company, the Fiori D35 JSR is based on the D40 model but features a range of safety and performance enhancements.

The dumper is set up with the wheels at the optimal gauge to sit directly on top of a standard gauge rail line.

Safety features include a ROPS/FOPS-enclosed cabin, 180degree rotating operator station, four wheel wet disc braking system and hydro-dynamic retardation as standard.

The dumper comprises oversized 600mm low-profile heavy-duty tyres and a utility type dumper body that is able to load/unload by hand where necessary.

According to the manufacturer, the machine is easily transportable and is ideally suited to mining operations in tight access areas.

The dumper is available worldwide and can be financed and insured through Semco Finance.
