MTU Detroit Diesel Australia expands, job opportunities

MTU Detroit Diesel Australia has announced that its relocation to a new, green facility at Edinburgh Parks, Adelaide will create up to 40 service and mechanical jobs.

The company is a world leader in low-emission diesel technology and alternative fuel, including commercial fuel cells for power generators. It services the mining industry among others.

MTU Detroit Diesel Australia says the relocation will help the company grow its business.

Premier Mike Rann has opened the new state-of-the-art facility with Transport Minister Patrick Conlon and MTU Detroit Diesel Australia president Doug Seneshen.

MTU Detroit Diesel Australia says that the move to Edinburgh Parks has offered a major upgrade for all of its Adelaide customers and employees. The company says that as a leader in high-performance and high-technology engines in Australia, it is essential we invest in world-class facilities.
